![]() I would consider the Fire Cube a high end device. Within Open Wizard you will be able to apply a preset to Kodi so that Kodi will treat your device as a "High End Device". Install Open Wizard as one of the add-ons when you install Kodi. I hope these answers help, enjoy your new setup! If whatever you are watching is not in 4K or does not support Atmos, it will default to Dolby Digital Plus. I'm not sure what your question on Dolby Atmos is, but the Fire TV Cube does support Dolby Atmos and will utilise it if the source content requires it. ![]() Why would you want to download content onto it, rather than use it to stream the content? I do believe it has an SD card slot so you could in theory add some storage to it, but I have no working knowledge of that feature as I do not use it. The 2nd Gen Fire TV Cube does have some available storage space, but if I recall correctly it is only around 8Gb - 9Gb of free space, which won't allow you to download much in HD. I have not felt like I needed to upgrade it yet, and as I bought it several years ago I think that speaks to its value. I too own a 2nd gen Fire TV is so much better than the 1st gen version, with more RAM and a better CPU. There is a lot of information to cover and there is a learning curve, but with the guides help you can get going pretty quickly. I would suggest clicking on the "I want to Learn" button in the Beginners and Noobs section of this subReddit, to view the guides on how to set up and use Kodi, and how to setup Real Debrid. From that page you can download the items onto a computer or with Real Debrid you can use their built-in player to watch the file. If you log into Real Debrid, for example, there is a page you can visit that has a list of all the programming you have watched. This is my understanding of the mechanics of it. When your debrid service is working, they will provide links to the programming you are searching for and they will appear at the top of the screen in a different colour from generic hosters, and most of the files will be cached by the debrid service which means you can download/begin playing them immediately. There are guides posted within the subReddit to show you how to setup debrid services within your chosen addon. I have used The Crew for a few years and I love it. Once you sign up for one of the Debrid services (I suggest Real Debrid) you will need to adjust the settings within whichever addon you have chosen to use. ![]() The Fire TV Cube's really are a great buy, especially if you are using Kodi. The Firesticks have smaller drives, much less RAM and smaller CPU's, so they are naturally slower. Not only is the UI smoother with Kodi, but it is also a more enjoyable experience using the Amazon Prime UI as it is also both smoother and quicker. I had done the upgrade a few years ago from a Firestick to a Fire TV Cube, and the difference is quite noticeable.
